Job summary

X Energy, LLC in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a Project Risk Analyst to develop and oversee an enterprise risk program for safety, quality, and project delivery. You will establish tools and processes for risk identification, evaluation, triggers, handling, and monitoring, coordinating across teams and leadership.

You will involve customers in joint risk management during development and capture, and support Business Development as needed.

Qualifications

15+ years of risk management experience, with at least 5 years in project engineering/management, design, operation, or maintenance of power generation or industrial facilities in nuclear.
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, business, finance, or related technical field is required.
Formal training or certifications in project management (e.g., PMIPMP, PMI-RMP, AACE, MBA or MS Engineering Management).
Experience with risk management for large, complex projects including engineering, procurement and construction, licensing, etc.

Responsibilities

Oversee identification, communication, measurement, and management of enterprise-level and project-specific risks.
Establish tools, processes, and procedures for risk identification, evaluation, triggers, handling, and monitoring and control actions.
Collaborate with risk management staff and leadership to develop mitigation strategies and enable informed business decisions.
Coordinate overlapping project risks across multiple teams or stakeholders.
Engage customers in joint risk management during development and capture; support Business Development as needed.
