Job summary

CB&I is seeking a Project Quality Manager to lead quality control across welding, NDE, PWHT and QC methods on LNG storage projects in the Southwest Louisiana area.

You will implement the Quality Management System, ensure compliance with API 620, ASME codes, and client requirements, mentor engineers, and coordinate with the project team to deliver safe, reliable, and compliant facilities.

Qualifications

• BS degree in welding engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including 5 years as Project Quality Manager.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical and risk assessment skills.
• Experience with welding engineering and NDE (VT, MT, PT, SFT, RT).
• Knowledge of ASME and API codes and standards.
• Understanding of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and information to meet quality requirements on welding and NDE.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System.
• Sign off welding and NDE procedures and material specs.
• Coordinate with project team and client reviews.
• Develop Project Quality Plans and QC deliverables.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and improve tools/workflow.
