Job summary

The Project Quality Assurance Auditor at Kiewit Power Constructors in Lenexa, KS conducts audits to verify compliance with the QMS, project requirements, and applicable standards. Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or related systems-based fields with strict quality control standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to perform assessments and attend conferences.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in varying temperature extremes and outside conditions.
• Proficient with computer-based technology and data systems.

Responsibilities

• Possess thorough knowledge of the district quality program, QMS, ASME QC Manual, Work Instructions, and Procedures.
• Understand the district audit and assessment process and scoring rubrics.
• Develop audit/assessment strategies for major disciplines to ensure QMS compliance.
• Review plans with Project Management and coordinate site reviews of quality issues.
• Monitor QMS implementation on projects, document findings, and lead corrective actions.
• Analyze trends, share lessons learned, and publish best practices on the Centerof Excellence site.
• Mentor jobsite personnel during audits and assessments and coordinate staffing.
• Promote standardization and provide QMS training as needed.
• Ensure availability of quality resources, codes, standards, and inspection equipment.
