Job summary

CRB Group in Raleigh, NC, seeks a Project Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for complex projects in life sciences and food industries. You will develop procurement plans, manage supplier selections, and drive commercial negotiations to meet schedule and budget.

The role requires coordinating with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Quality, Safety and Finance, mentoring teammates, and maintaining procurement records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10 years of experience in procurement of capital equipment and/or subcontracting services (preferably in an EPCM environment).
• 7 years experience in Pharma/bio or food and beverage industries preferred.
• Experience leading sourcing initiatives for complex, custom equipment packages (> $10MM).
• Experience mentoring and developing team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Project Procurement Plan and procurement schedule.
• Lead RFIs/RFPs/RFQs for equipment, materials, and subcontracted services; bid tabs and commercial evaluations.
• Negotiate contractual terms, supplier qualification, expediting, and document control receipts.
• Coordinate procurement activities with Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Quality, Safety, and Finance.
• Provide procurement status reporting and support estimating with market intelligence.
