Job summary

BBA Consultants in Tucson, AZ, seeks a Senior Project Planner to drive project performance by developing, maintaining and optimizing integrated EPCM schedules across engineering, procurement, logistics, construction and commissioning. You will analyze critical paths and risks, generate progress reports and provide data-driven recommendations to project leadership, with travel as needed.

The role requires a college degree, 10+ years on large heavy industrial or mining projects and fluency in

Qualifications

• College diploma, university degree or other relevant substituted experience.
• At least 10 years of experience on medium or large-scale projects in heavy industrial or mining sectors.
• Experience with EPCM projects.
• Knowledge of multidisciplinary design and construction processes.
• Proficiency with industry best practices (AACEI and PMI).
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS-Project.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Willing to travel occasionally to frequently depending on project needs.
• Asset: Prism G2 Suite knowledge.
• Asset: experience on international projects.
• Asset: bilingual (French or Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Lead development, optimization and maintenance of integrated EPCM project schedules.
• Analyze critical paths, risks and opportunities.
• Drive adherence to the schedule and performance.
• Exercise independent judgement in selecting, filing, compiling and analyzing data from various sources.
• Provide data-driven recommendations and solutions to project leadership.
• Generate schedule progress reports and performance indicators.
• Carry out related tasks to deliver projects.
