Job summary
Jabil in Grantsville, UT is seeking a Project Manufacturing Engineer to lead and implement projects that eliminate waste and optimize production and service delivery systems across the site.
The role requires strong experience in manufacturing and industrial engineering, SAP/MES standardization, and cross-functional leadership to drive process improvement, cost control, and timely project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
- 8+ years of experience managing technical engineering teams.
- Manufacturing process development experience.
- Large form assembly process development preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Visio, Project, AutoCAD; SolidWorks preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement projects to eliminate waste using IE/ME methods.
- Verify time standards within the Engineering Team.
- Update and report key Engineering metrics.
- Drive process mapping activities within the assigned area.
- Drive the standardization of SAP and MES configurations.
- Assist in preparing quotes for proposed projects.
- Drive process-related activities for New Product Introduction.
- Support Lean initiatives with data integrity for process improvement.
- Manage cross-functional teams to develop world-class equipment and processes.
- Provide startup assistance to new facility/workcell launches.
- Oversee raw material delivery, storage and line feed systems.
- WIP management, sizing and buffer storage.
