Jabil is seeking an Industrial Engineer III to lead continuous improvement initiatives, optimize production processes, and support new product introductions. You will develop labor standards, capacity models, and manufacturing metrics while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve productivity, quality, and delivery.

Proficiency with AutoCAD/SolidWorks and SAP/MES is preferred, with a focus on cost reduction and scalable manufacturing.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of Industrial Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience utilizing industrial engineering methodologies including: Time studies and work measurement, Process mapping and value stream analysis, Capacity planning, Manufacturing simulation, Operations research, Facility and workstation design, Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Project, and ERP/MES systems.
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated success leading continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
• Experience leading PFMEA activities.
• Understanding of labor modeling, line balancing, workflow optimization, and productivity analysis.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data to drive business decisions.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to mentor and develop engineering talent.
• Knowledge of SAP, MES, and manufacturing system integration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and implement continuous improvement and cost reduction projects across manufacturing operations.
• Analyze and optimize production processes using industrial engineering tools including work measurement, process mapping, simulation, and operations research.
• Develop and validate labor standards, capacity models, and manufacturing process metrics.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring manufacturing readiness and process efficiency.
• Create and maintain facility layouts, workstation designs, and manufacturing flow improvements using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Conduct process risk assessments and support PFMEA development and implementation.
• Prepare business cases, cost analyses, and project quotations for manufacturing initiatives.
• Drive standardization of SAP and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) configurations and manufacturing processes.
• Monitor, analyze, and report key operational and industrial engineering metrics.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers while supporting engineering best practices across the site.
• Partner with Lean and Operations teams to identify and eliminate waste while improving productivity, quality, and delivery performance.
• Support change management initiatives and drive sustainable process improvements throughout the organization.
