Job summary

Jabil, located in Grantsville, Utah, seeks an Electrical Engineer II to translate complex electrical designs into reliable, scalable manufacturing solutions for hyperscale data-center and energy customers.

This hands-on role supports NPI, qualification, production ramp, and sustaining operations while improving test performance, resolving production issues, and meeting quality, cost, delivery, reliability, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant electrical/hardware engineering experience.
• Strong ability to read schematics and diagnose electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Support prototype, pilot, qualification, ramp, and sustaining production activities.
• Review schematics, PCBAs, wiring, cables, specifications for manufacturability.
• Partner with Test Engineering to define, validate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing test solutions.
• Diagnose electrical failures at component, PCB, subassembly, system, and rack levels.
• Lead investigations of defects and verify corrective actions with cross‑functional teams.
• Analyze production and test data to improve quality, yield, throughput, and cost.
• Support DFM/ DFA/ DFT reviews, PFMEA, control plans, risk assessments, and readiness reviews.
• Coordinate ECOs, deviations, component qualifications, configuration changes, and product revisions.
