HIRING: SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – WORKDAY/ERP STABILIZATION

Pay Range: $60.00–$69.00 per hour
Thunderhawk Technology Partners, LLC is recruiting for a Senior Project Manager – Workday/ERP Stabilization position on behalf of its client.
We are seeking a qualified project-management professional with experience leading enterprise projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and supporting Workday/ERP stabilization, implementation, and production-readiness activities.
Position Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant project-management experience, including coordinating and supporting business processes.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale projects.
- 2+ years of experience implementing, stabilizing, or supporting an ERP, HCM, or related enterprise system, preferably Workday.
- Strong experience managing production stabilization, issue resolution, root-cause analysis, testing, deployment, reconciliation, and closure activities.
- Experience coordinating functional, technical, payroll, finance, business, and third-party vendor teams.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and structured development methodologies.
- Experience using project-management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Asana.
- Experience with Workday, ERP, HCM, benefits, payroll, integrations, or related enterprise systems is preferred.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, risk management, issue tracking, and executive reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or CAPM certification.
- Experience supporting Workday stabilization or post-implementation activities.
- Experience with payroll, benefits, finance, integrations, or other enterprise-system workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning and execution for Workday/ERP stabilization activities.
- Coordinate functional, technical, payroll, finance, business, and third-party vendor teams.
- Track issues, risks, dependencies, decisions, action items, and deliverables.
- Coordinate root-cause analysis and resolution of production issues.
- Support testing, deployment, reconciliation, validation, and closure activities.
- Manage project status reporting, executive communications, and stakeholder updates.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, scope, risks, and dependencies.
- Support SDLC activities and structured development methodologies.
- Use project-management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Asana.
- Coordinate transition and knowledge-transfer activities.
- Support production stability and operational readiness.
Work Arrangement
This position is based in Atlanta, Georgia. Occasional onsite attendance in Atlanta will be required based on client and project requirements. Candidates must be able to report onsite when required.
Candidates who are not currently local may be considered if they can meet the required onsite schedule.
