Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a seasoned Senior Project/Construction Manager to lead water/wastewater and power infrastructure projects in Miami, FL. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams and coordinate between clients, contractors, designers, inspectors, and internal groups to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

The role requires a Civil Engineering/Construction Management background with 10+ years of experience, strong contract knowledge, and proficiency with eBuilder, Procore, Bluebeam,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction/project management, with water/wastewater focus.
• Proficiency with web-based CM tools: eBuilder, Procore, Bluebeam, SharePoint.
• Proven leadership in managing large municipal or utility projects.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, regulatory compliance, and project controls.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams including Coordinators, Inspectors, Engineers, and Technicians.
• Provide oversight across procurement, contract administration, claims resolution, cost/schedule control, safety and QA.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure contract compliance and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate inspections and asset handover to post-construction teams.
• Engage with clients at executive levels with professionalism and integrity.
• Monitor project metrics, risks and performance for internal leadership and clients.
• Oversee change orders ensuring alignment with contracts and client needs.
• Prepare and present project status to stakeholders.
