Job summary

Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects from development through construction. You’ll manage scopes, budgets, schedules, and proposals while coordinating design and field teams to deliver high‑impact outcomes for communities.

As a seasoned leader, you’ll mentor engineers, drive client relations, and uphold GMC standards in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Travel may be required as projects progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive engineering and project management experience.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, GIS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from marketing and contract negotiation through scope definition and contract execution.
• Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and fee proposals.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle, including development, design, bidding, construction, and closeout.
• Coordinate cross-discipline work and perform QA/QC for project documents.
• Serve as primary client contact with regulatory agencies, contractors, and sub-consultants.
• Identify and mitigate risk, escalating critical issues as needed.
• Prepare contract documents, amendments, change orders, and project modifications.
• Drive client satisfaction and business development through external relationships.
• Resolve complex technical, financial, regulatory, and environmental issues on high-impact assignments.
• Reinforce GMC standards and values across all project efforts.
