Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC) in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects from development through construction. You will guide cross-disciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure project delivery aligns with GMC standards.

The role emphasizes strong communication, risk management, and hands-on QA/QC across the full lifecycle. A PE license and 10+ years of engineering and PM experience are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering.
• PE license required.
• 10 years of progressive engineering and project management experience.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, GIS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management decision-analysis tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of projects from marketing through contract execution.
• Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and fee proposals.
• Direct and oversee the entire project lifecycle from development to closeout.
• Coordinate cross-discipline QA/QC checks for document quality.
• Serve as primary client, regulatory, contractor and sub-consultant contact.
• Identify and mitigate risk, escalating critical issues as needed.
• Prepare and coordinate contract documents, amendments, change orders.
• Drive client satisfaction and business development with external relationships.
• Resolve complex technical, financial, regulatory, and environmental issues.
• Reinforce GMC standards and values across projects.
