Job summary

IB Abel Inc. in Pennsylvania seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead project planning, contract administration, safety, and financial performance across utility transmission and distribution projects.

You will mentor Project Associates, manage client and subcontractor relations, develop schedules, control costs, and ensure on-time delivery while upholding our values of integrity and results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ project management experience in utility transmission or distribution.
• Willingness to mentor less experienced Project Associates.
• PMP, FMI, or Primavera certifications.
• Proficient in MS Office applications with strong Excel, Word, and MS Project.
• Local to Pennsylvania with regular travel; ability to work from home when appropriate.
• Can-do attitude and strong collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, contract administration, and schedule management.
• Oversee safety, quality, and field execution.
• Monitor costs, budgets, and financial performance; lead WIP reviews.
• Manage client, subcontractor, and stakeholder relations.
• Mentor Project Associates and promote delivery process adherence.
• Coordinate with project team and vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
