Job summary

TAR is seeking an experienced Project Manager based in Austin to own day-to-day execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects, from initial planning through commissioning. You will administer EPC contracts and coordinate suppliers, engineers, and field crews directly under an owner-led delivery model.

This role requires 5+ years in project management, with experience on solar+PV projects and strong scheduling/contract management skills. Based in Austin with regular site time in West Texas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management roles.
• Project management experience on utility-scale solar+PV projects.
• Proficiency in scheduling and contract administration.
• Experience administering EPC contracts, including change orders and contractor performance.
• Strong understanding of schedule analysis and project baselines.
• Decision-making under compressed schedules with stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the project schedule through commissioning.
• Drive engineering, procurement and construction workstreams to meet critical path.
• Control costs by tracking budgets and change orders.
• Administer EPC contracts under owner-led delivery model.
• Coordinate supply chain, engineering, commissioning and field resources.
