Job summary

HK Solutions Group seeks an experienced Project Manager to own multiple municipal rehabilitation projects across several states. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction while serving as the main contact for owners, engineers, and contractors.

Ideal candidates bring depth in at least one service line (CIPP repair or sewer cleaning/CCTV) and will develop working knowledge of the other. Travel and site presence are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years PM experience in underground utility or trenchless construction.
• 3+ years managing field-based construction with budget/schedule accountability.
• Experience in at least one core service line; willingness to learn the other.
• Public works contracting knowledge including plans, bid docs, submittals, change orders.
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans, profiles, and technical specs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and cost tracking systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; valid driver's license; pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary customer contact from notice to proceed through final acceptance.
• Lead project turnover from estimating; validate scope, quantities, unit prices, and contract terms.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; coordinate crew, equipment, and material requirements.
• Manage project financials including budget setup, cost coding, and margin reporting.
• Prepare, negotiate, and document change orders, RFIs, and differing site conditions.
• Review submittals and CCTV/inspection deliverables.
• Interpret CCTV data to validate scope and quantities.
• Coordinate permits, road closures, and utility locates.
• Direct public notification and outreach efforts.
• Ensure safety and quality through reviews and audits.
• Assemble closeout packages with warranties and lien waivers.
