Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers seeks a Senior Project Manager to provide strategic and technical leadership on complex civil engineering projects in Fort Worth, TX. You will manage client satisfaction, project performance, and business development while guiding multidisciplinary teams and maintaining hands-on involvement in key projects.

You will mentor Project Managers and technical staff, oversee budgets and schedules, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state(s) required to support project work.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering and project management experience.
• Demonstrated success managing complex projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to mentor staff and supervise teams of 5-7 employees.
• Strong business development, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities and multiple concurrent projects.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal client contact and foster strong relationships for repeat work.
• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple complex projects within scope, schedule, budget, and profitability.
• Develop and negotiate project scopes, budgets, schedules, proposals, and contracts.
• Provide leadership to multidisciplinary project teams and mentor staff.
• Oversee project financial performance, staffing plans, and resource allocation.
• Review and approve technical deliverables for standards, regulations, and client requirements.
• Perform or oversee QA/QC reviews, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Lead or support business development activities including pursuits, RFQs, proposals, and client growth.
