Job summary

PNC is seeking a Project Manager III to lead medium to large-scale technology projects across multiple locations. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to drive outcomes.

The role requires experience with PM methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/hybrid), strong risk management, and communication skills within a regulated environment. In-office culture and program governance are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Experience leading complex business or technology initiatives.
• Knowledge of PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
• Strong risk, stakeholder, and budget management and communication skills.
• Experience in a regulated industry environment.
• Exposure to AI initiatives including governance or operationalization.
• Banking/financial services experience preferred.
• PMP/Agile/Scrum or equivalent certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, governance structures, and stakeholder communications.
• Partner with business leaders, technology teams, risk partners, compliance groups, and operations to achieve objectives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and roadblocks.
• Facilitate governance meetings and provide executive-level reporting on status and KPIs.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and risk management requirements.
• Coordinate resources across units and external vendors when applicable.
• Promote best practices in project management and continuous improvement.
