Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Environmental Control and Life Support System Senior Project Manager to join the JETSII Contract at NASA centers across the United States. You will lead teams to develop spaceflight hardware, manage budgets, schedules, and risks, and report status to national space program stakeholders.

The role requires strong communication, prior government project management experience, and the ability to mentor early-career team members within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 10–15 years of related experience in government and internal company financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost estimating.
• Experience managing and leading a team; strong communication with customers and management at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead large and/or advanced flight hardware projects for NASA ECLSS.
• Manage risk across cost, schedule, and technical aspects of projects.
• Develop conceptual designs, conduct trade studies, and define key requirements.
