Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end execution of NASA COSMOS mission operations projects from Johnson Space Center in Houston. You will own scope, schedule, budget, and risk management while coordinating with systems and software engineers, release managers, customers, and support organizations.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining project plans, managing cross-disciplinary teams, tracking milestones, and communicating schedule impacts to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of general experience or Master’s degree and 1 year of general experience.
• Must be able to obtain a NASA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Badge for NASA credentials.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from PMI is desirable.
• Experience with Office 365 Tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned projects from initiation through closeout.
• Serve as the single accountable owner for project execution.
• Develop and maintain project plans.
• Coordinate work across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Balance competing priorities while maintaining customer commitments.
• Ensure projects support mission objectives.
