Kimley-Horn seeks a Senior Project Manager - Practice Builder to expand the Solid Waste practice in Vero Beach, FL. The role focuses on leading multi-discipline projects, building client relationships, and growing the local practice with a pathway toward ownership.

The successful candidate will drive strategic growth, manage teams, and deliver profitable projects while mentoring staff and expanding client networks across Florida.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of civil engineering, design, and management of solid waste and landfill projects.
• Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or reciprocity option.
• Established client contacts with municipalities, counties, water management authorities, and agencies.
• Proven business development skills and ability to win work.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills.
• Ability to mentor staff and manage resources positively.

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead, and expand solid waste and landfill practice teams in multi-discipline projects.
• Create a growth vision for the local solid waste practice in Florida.
• Provide leadership, strategic planning, goal setting, and client relationship building.
• Lead projects profitably, mentor staff, and transition work to qualified personnel.
• Autonomously lead and grow the business with potential for ownership and bonuses.
