Job summary

Delphi-US - Peacemakers In The Talent War is seeking a Senior Project Manager- Software Implementation to lead enterprise software deployments from planning through go-live in a hybrid Scottsdale, AZ setting.   • Experience managing multi-million-dollar software implementations, in Justice, Public Safety, or Public Sector environments.
  • Ability to work in the Eastern time zone.
  • Strong client-facing communication, stakeholder management, and budgeting capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise software implementation projects spanning one or more business units, from initiation through go-live and support.
  • Build and manage detailed project plans to track scope, schedule, budget, resources, deliverables, and quality milestones.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and cost changes using verification techniques and change control.
  • Implement and enforce change management procedures, including change orders and cost/schedule impacts.
  • Maintain project schedules and budgets, updating baselines for approved changes.
  • Assemble, lead, and develop project teams; oversee performance management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and report project progress across resources and workstreams; identify blockers and drive resolution.
  • Own project financials, including multi-million-dollar budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Define project missions, goals, tasks, service levels, and customer requirements.
  • Partner with clients to understand needs, set expectations, and monitor satisfaction.
  • Participate in design/testing phases (QA, UAT, training, transition planning).
  • Apply project management methodology and provide status on plans, risks, issues, and resolutions.
  • Perform risk management and mitigation to minimize delivery risk.
  • Contribute to process improvements focused on delivery and customer satisfaction.

Senior Project Manager-Software Implementation | Location: Hybrid Scottsdale, AZ | Direct Hire | Hourly Pay Range $120,000-$150,000

Lead multi-year, multi-million-dollar, enterprise software implementation initiatives as a Senior Project Manager, partnering with cross-functional delivery teams and stakeholders to drive predictable outcomes. This role owns end-to-end planning, execution, and governance across the full delivery lifecycle—ensuring projects land on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead enterprise software implementation projects spanning one or more business units, from initiation through go-live and support

  • Build and manage detailed project plans to track scope, schedule, budget, resources, deliverables, and quality milestones

  • Manage project scope, schedule, and cost changes using appropriate verification techniques and formal change control

  • Implement and enforce change management procedures, including expediting client-approved change orders and maintaining accurate cost/schedule impacts

  • Maintain project schedules and budgets, registering proposed changes and updating baselines for approved changes

  • Assemble, lead, and develop project teams; oversee performance management decisions throughout the project lifecycle

  • Monitor, track, and report project progress across resources and workstreams; identify blockers and drive timely resolution

  • Own project financials, including multi-million-dollar budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation

  • Facilitate definition of project missions, goals, tasks, service levels, and customer requirements

  • Partner with clients and stakeholders to understand needs, set realistic expectations, and actively monitor customer satisfaction

  • Participate in design and/or testing phases as needed, including validation activities such as QA, UAT, training, and transition planning

  • Apply a defined project management methodology and provide clear oral and written status reporting on plans, risks, issues, and resolutions

  • Perform risk management, maintain risk registers, and drive mitigation plans to minimize delivery risk

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives focused on delivery effectiveness and customer satisfaction


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • Demonstrable experience in Justice, Public Safety, or Public Sector environments

  • Proven ability to manage projects with multi-million-dollar budgets

  • Ability to work in the Eastern time zone

  • Thorough understanding of project delivery stages and controls, including initiation, discovery (definition/scope/requirements), execute & control (configuration/development, scope management, workplans, resources, deliverables), validation (QA, UAT, training, transition planning), deployment (go-live), and support (hypercare and ongoing maintenance)

  • Strong client-facing communication skills, including stakeholder management and expectation-setting

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines and budget constraints

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to work calmly under pressure, multitask, and prioritize effectively


Preferred Qualifications


  • PMP certification

  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps
