Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years related experience in project management OR a high school diploma with 6 years related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years related experience in project management OR a high school diploma with 9 years related experience.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing the operational aspects of projects that involve facilities, logistics, or operations support in a secure or DoD environment.
• Experience serving as a liaison across multiple functional areas (e.g., engineering, security, facilities, IT, operations) to deliver integrated outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and status reporting using standard office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word; project/scheduling tools preferred).
• Experience identifying project issues and developing/implementing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, cost, schedule, and customer-satisfaction goals.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret (or higher) clearance and any additional access required to support NSIC facilities and SCIF operations.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills; proven ability to brief leadership and coordinate with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the operational aspects of NSIC facility and logistics projects, including renovations, build-outs, and space reconfigurations.
• Serve as S4/6 liaison to NASIC/base civil engineering and construction managers to ensure NSIC operational facility concerns, space utilization, and specialized requirements are fully communicated and incorporated.
• Plan, sequence, and track personnel moves, furniture reconfigurations, and temporary relocations to minimize mission degradation during construction or maintenance.
• Coordinate with supply chain, vendors, and base support elements for furnishings, equipment, and services required to execute NSIC facility and logistics projects.
• Coordinate closely with NSIC, NASIC, and other mission partners to synchronize installation and integration of IT and digital infrastructure with facility work and project milestones.
• Partner with NSIC and NASIC Security and Mission Assurance teams to identify, track, and mitigate physical, SCIF, and operational security risks that arise from facility projects.
• Support implementation of new processes and tools that strengthen facility, logistics, and digital services integration and improve resilience of NSIC operations.
• Develop and maintain integrated plans and schedules; review status of projects and budgets; prepare routine and ad hoc status reports and executive-level briefings for NSIC leadership.
