Pape-Dawson Engineers is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Orlando or Jacksonville, FL offices. This role supervises land development projects, ensuring contractual compliance, budget adherence, and schedule conformance while mentoring engineers and technicians.

The ideal candidate holds a Florida PE, a BS in Agricultural or Civil Engineering, and 10 years of relevant experience managing large projects. Strong client engagement and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural or Civil engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation in the state of Florida
• 10 years' experience managing substantial land development projects including estimating costs
• Experience in Greater Orlando market highly preferred
• Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a dynamic group of technical professionals to serve our clients well
• Prepare proposals and client agreements
• Develop trusting professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders
• Coordinate project tasks, budgets, and schedules to meet client timelines
• Lead the design, plan production and permitting for land development projects
• Participate in developing company design and production standards
• Engage with professional associations and civic organizations to give back to the community
