Pape-Dawson Engineers in the Orlando Milk District invites a Project Manager for Residential Land Development, with opportunities to work also in Jacksonville. You will guide a team of engineers and technical staff from initial concept through design, permitting, and completion, ensuring client satisfaction.

Qualified candidates hold a B.S. in Agricultural or Civil Engineering (ABET), a Florida P.E., and 6+ years of land development experience, including client and project leadership and a track

Qualifications

• B.S. in Agricultural or Civil Engineering from ABET‑accredited college/university.
• Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation.
• 6+ years of land development design experience (commercial, residential, industrial).
• Experience leading a team and managing client relationships from concept to completion.
• Knowledge of design and construction practices and willingness to mentor others.
• Openness to coaching and developing new client opportunities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a dynamic group of engineers and technical staff to serve clients effectively.
• Engage in proposal and client agreement development and execution.
• Develop trusting relationships with clients, public agency officials, and community leaders.
• Coordinate project tasks, budgets, and schedules while respecting client timelines.
• Foster professional development within the project team according to individual goals.
• Contribute to the development of design and production standards to maintain technical excellence.
• Be open to new approaches to achieve project goals.
• Seek guidance from leaders and welcome suggestions across project management areas.
• Represent the firm in professional associations and civic organizations.
