Job summary

Terra-Gen, LLC in California seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead the project development lifecycle from greenfield or MNA through development, EPC selection, construction and turnover to operations.

You will manage due diligence, select engineering consultants, develop specifications, oversee implementation, support financial close, equipment integration, and HV procurement strategies, with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required (Electrical preferred).
• Minimum 3 years in project engineering/design or development; 5–10 years preferred in renewables.

Responsibilities

• Lead development due diligence for key projects in the pipeline.
• Select and manage engineering consultants for development support and EPC contractor selection.
• Develop specifications, diagrams, and other contract exhibits to support EPC contracts and other development activities.
• Oversee engineering during implementation, including EPC contractor selection and site visits.
• Support project economics, inputs for pro forma, and coordination for financial close.
• Assist in equipment selection and integration of EPC-provided equipment.
• Support long-term HV equipment procurement strategies.
