Job summary

PMA Consultants in the United States seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large redevelopment projects at Washington Dulles International Airport. You will set strategy, influence client outcomes, and establish delivery standards while partnering with PMA leadership to drive growth and organizational development.

You'll manage multidisciplinary teams, drive innovation, and ensure alignment with business objectives through proactive planning, governance, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field required.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive project/program management experience in the AEC industry.
• Experience managing full project lifecycle: feasibility, procurement, design, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Aviation construction experience strongly preferred.
• Expertise in governance, program controls, and strategic risk planning.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, strategic planning and executive reporting.
• Deep understanding of construction processes, critical path scheduling, cost control, and contract management.
• Advanced proficiency in project management software and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the project life cycle from feasibility studies through closeout.
• Serve as strategic liaison to executive clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
• Create governance frameworks and long-range implementation strategies.
• Lead stakeholder ecosystems with political, environmental, and commercial interests.
• Define performance management structures including KPIs and earned value.
• Drive issue resolution and decision gates across program lifecycles.
• Champion lessons learned and PMA methodology advancements.
• Manage the Project Management Team for project completion.
• Facilitate client meetings, write RFPs, and oversee design/construction contracts.
