Job summary

CVR Energy seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead diverse projects across multiple disciplines in the United States. You will plan, direct, supervise, and control technical, fiscal, and administrative aspects to safely deliver on schedule and within budget.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years' PM experience in refinery or chemical settings, with strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Civil, Construction or related Engineering required.
• 5+ years’ experience in project management, refinery, or chemical environment preferred.
• Experience leading projects of at least $500K; ability to manage larger projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects, accountable for scope, schedule and budget.
• Define scope, cost, and schedule with contractors and client representatives.
• Develop SOWs for facility-related projects, with EPC, capital projects, and technical writing experience.
• Maintain/update facility specifications and standards.
• Collaborate across departments and with vendors, engineering and construction contractors.
• Create and track project schedules and budgets; deliver projects safely and on time.
• Work in environments with potentially volatile materials and chemicals.
