Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation in Carson, CA, is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to oversee multiple Mid-Cap capital and expense projects from concept through completion. You will manage scope, cost, and schedule, and coordinate with the Refining Engineering Manager and stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 7+ years in project management/engineering within refining, petrochemical, or oil and gas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (required).
• 7+ years of PM/PE experience in refining, petrochemical, or oil & gas.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple capital and expense Mid-Cap projects ($1M–$25M TIC each).
• Manage project from conceptual engineering through completion.
• Develop scope, cost estimates, and schedules; prepare construction work packages.
• Support project construction and project closeout.
• Report status and deviations to stakeholders.
