Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of public-sector projects across the Bay Area. You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver complex capital improvements.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in project management or construction management for K-12 or higher-ed projects, strong client management skills, and a track record of compliant, on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Project Management, engineering, or construction management.
• Experience working with DSA (Division of State Architects) is required.
• Certifications such as CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project team, either a large project or multiple projects or a whole program.
• Define technical scope of project.
• Coordinate tasks to optimize client references and repeat business.
• Review cost estimates and manage project-level conflict resolution.
• Maintain monthly project budgets for current and forecasted expenditures.
• Communicate with the client and provide regular reports.
• Ensure project objectives are met within client requirements.
