Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Program Manager to provide strategic oversight for a portfolio of K-12 capital projects in Richmond, CA. The role requires leading multi-project efforts, coordinating schedules, budgets, and risks, and partnering with the district to meet objectives.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of program management experience in K-12, public-sector, or institutional construction, with DSA process knowledge and relevant certifications (CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED).

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in project management, engineering, or construction management.
• Preferred Certification: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED.
• Must have DSA experience, including understanding of the Division of the State Architect process.
• Experience managing complex K-12 projects.

Responsibilities

• Design processes to monitor projects with scope, cost, schedule, and risk.
• Coordinate and oversee project teams to meet goals on time and on budget.
• Provide proactive solutions and manage changes with the client.
• Lead project teams across large or multiple projects within a program.
• Maintain monthly project budgets and client communications with reports.
