Cumming Group in Oakland, CA seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex capital improvement and campus modernization projects for a university client. You will oversee planning through closeout, manage budgets, schedules, consultants, contractors, and stakeholder coordination.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in project management/construction, with DSA/public sector experience and strong client leadership to drive projects forward in a fast-paced campus setting.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Project Management, engineering, or construction management supporting K-12 schools or community college projects.
• Experience with the Division of State Architects (DSA) requirements is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project team, large project or multiple projects within a program.
• Define the technical scope of the project and manage scope changes.
• Maintain monthly project budgets and forecast expenditures.
• Facilitate client communications and prepare regular reports.
• Ensure compliance with DSA and public sector standards.
