Job summary

HireRight in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and support a team of PMs within the PSO Onboarding organization. You will oversee customer onboarding projects, coach team members, and ensure compliance with internal standards.

Overview

HireRight is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and support a team of Project Managers within the PSO Onboarding organization. This role combines advanced project management responsibilities with day ‑ to ‑ day leadership of a team of PMs.

Ensures that all customer onboarding projects are executed with excellence while also developing team capabilities, providing coaching, managing performance, and ensuring compliance with HireRight’s Legal, Contracts, and Compliance standards.

This position partners closely with cross ‑ functional stakeholders including Sales, Sales Engineering, Sales Analysts, Account Setup, Credentialing, Account Management, Product, Legal, and Compliance.

This is a hybrid role requiring three onsite days per week in our Nashville, TN HQ or remote within the US.

Responsibilities

Project Management & Customer Onboarding Execution

• Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project plans for new customer onboardings.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Maintain frequent, proactive communication with customers throughout the onboarding lifecycle.
• Lead customer meetings, including agendas, updates, and follow ‑up.
• Ensure all projects drive to “go live” on or ahead of schedule.
• Escalate any perceived delays or risks that may impact customer readiness.
• Work with subject matter experts on systems, onboarding workflows, and product configuration.

Leadership, Strategy & Problem Solving

• Identify process gaps, recurring issues, and systemic improvements to enhance customer onboarding.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape onboarding strategy, reporting, KPIs, and optimization initiatives.
• Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
