Job summary

PNC is seeking a Project Manager III to lead complex cross-functional software and business initiatives within the PMO. You will drive governance, ensure alignment with priorities, and translate strategy into executable plans across product, engineering, and operations teams.

You will mentor others, manage risks, and deliver executive-ready status updates while fostering transparency and accountability across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in software, technology, business, operations, or PMO environments.
• Experience supporting portfolio reporting, project governance, operational readiness, or cross-functional launch activities.
• CAPM, CSM, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, communications, or related field.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Zoho, SharePoint, or similar project tracking platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams; experience with PMO reporting, dashboards, or project portfolio tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the most complex projects from original concept through final implementation and post-project assessment.
• Develop strategy, processes, resource allocation, budget, guidelines and support of PMO team.
• Partners with internal project liaisons to acquire resources, assigns tasks, directs activities, and controls project execution.
• Tracks and reports progress, analyzes results, forecasts future trends, and manages scope changes.
• Maintains communications for governing bodies and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
