Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Project Manager with mechanical or plumbing project experience to join our team in a fast-paced construction environment. You will oversee commercial plumbing/HVAC projects from planning through completion, review contracts, develop schedules, and manage budgets while collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Experience managing commercial plumbing/HVAC projects.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing or HVAC systems.
• Ability to review and negotiate contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of commercial plumbing/HVAC projects from initial planning to completion.
• Review contracts and negotiate terms to ensure optimal outcomes for the company.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met.
• Manage project budgets, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Collaborate with other professionals in the construction industry, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact project timelines or budgets.
• Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns they may have.
• Continually monitor the quality of work being carried out, taking corrective action as necessary.
