Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate, Project Manager to lead integration and technical operations for card partnerships in Richmond, VA. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risk, and deliver high‑quality technical solutions for corporate partners.

You will translate business needs into technical requirements, negotiate with stakeholders, and guide delivery teams while prioritizing performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years of Project Management or Process Management experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction with the technical products and services we provide by negotiating mutually beneficial agreements across Customers, stakeholders and technical teams.
• Quickly understanding business needs and translate these needs into technical solutions
• Conducting analysis, gaining support and driving solutions through influence and negotiation
• Communicate across and up through your Partner’s and Capital One leadership team to ensure timely and accurate information is provided.
• Continuously learn & analyze complex, interconnected business processes / systems to ensure risks are well managed and controls are effective.
• Assist with Intent grooming to ensure acceptance criteria and conditions of satisfaction clearly define ‘done’ for agile delivery teams.
• Focus on quality, resilience and performance of technologies and services utilized for your partner.
• Work closely with software engineering teams to find creative solutions to problems and to remove impediments to delivery.
