Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate, Project Manager to lead integration for the Card Partnerships Technology team in a hybrid work setup. You will guide cross-functional, multi-platform programs, ensuring strong risk management and transparent communications with corporate partners.

You will champion partner interests, identify growth opportunities, and drive agile delivery with a focus on quality, resilience and performance of technical services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years of Project Management or Process Management experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with systems integration.
• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience preferred.
• 4+ years of Project Management or Process Management experience preferred.
• 2+ years of Data Analytics experience preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL or business intelligence tools preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS preferred.
• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by negotiating mutually beneficial agreements across customers, stakeholders and technical teams.
• Quickly understanding business needs and translating these into technical solutions.
• Conducting analysis, gaining support and driving solutions through influence and negotiation.
• Communicating across and up to Partner and Capital One leadership for timely and accurate information.
• Continuously learn and analyze complex, interconnected business processes to ensure risks are well managed and controls are effective.
• Assist with Intent grooming to ensure acceptance criteria and conditions of satisfaction clearly define 'done' for agile delivery teams.
• Focus on quality, resilience and performance of technologies and services utilized for the partner.
• Work closely with software engineering teams to find creative solutions and remove impediments to delivery.
