The role requires a PE/RA license and 15+ years of building construction experience, with a track record in CM/CEI/Owner’s Representative roles on complex vertical projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Licensed Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Minimum of 15 years of building-construction experience; experience as CM/CEI/Owner's Rep preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary Owner’s Representative during construction.
• Lead and coordinate the construction administration and inspection team.
• Monitor contractor work for compliance with contract documents, plans, permits, and codes.
• Coordinate with owner, architect, engineers, contractor, consultants, agencies, and stakeholders.
• Conduct and document regular site inspections and progress reviews.
• Review schedules, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and testing reports.
• Monitor costs, schedule performance, quality, safety, and risks.
• Maintain daily reports, photos, correspondence, logs, and meeting minutes.
• Identify defects and coordinate corrective actions.
• Lead progress meetings and provide regular reports to the owner.
• Manage punch-lists, commissioning, turnover, and closeout documentation.

Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Owner's Representative

Location: Miami, FL

Salary: Up to $180k base salary (could be negotiable), plus bonus and excellent benefits. 100% paid insurance.

Overview of the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to provide construction engineering, administration, and inspection services for a major airport terminal building project. The selected candidate will serve as the Owner’s on-site representative and lead the construction management and inspection team throughout the construction and closeout phases.

Essential Functions:

• Serve as the primary Owner’s Representative during construction.
• Lead and coordinate the construction administration and inspection team.
• Monitor the contractor’s work for general compliance with the contract documents, approved plans, specifications, permits, and applicable building codes.
• Coordinate with the owner, architect, engineers, contractor, consultants, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
• Conduct and document regular site inspections and construction progress reviews.
• Review contractor schedules, payment applications, change-order requests, requests for information, submittals, and testing reports.
• Monitor project costs, schedule performance, construction quality, safety compliance, and identified project risks.
• Maintain daily reports, photographic documentation, correspondence, logs, meeting minutes, and other project records.
• Identify defective or nonconforming work and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Lead progress meetings and provide regular written reports to the owner.
• Manage punch-list activities, commissioning coordination, project turnover, and final closeout documentation.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Registered Architect or Professional Engineer license required.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant building-construction experience.
• Demonstrated experience serving as a Construction Manager, CEI Project Manager, or Owner’s Representative.
• Experience with public-sector, institutional, airport, municipal, or other complex vertical-construction projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, contract administration, scheduling, cost control, inspection procedures, and project documentation.
• Proficiency with construction-management and document-control software.
• Strong written, verbal, leadership, and stakeholder-coordination skills.
