Job summary

EAC Consulting, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager to serve as the Owner’s on-site representative for a major airport terminal building project in Miami.

You will lead the construction management, coordinate with architect, engineers, contractor, and stakeholders, and oversee inspections, schedules, costs, and quality through closeout. You have 15+ years of building-construction experience, a professional engineering or architecture license, and a track record managing complex

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field is required.
Professional Engineer or Architect license is required.
Minimum 15 years of relevant building-construction experience is required.
Experience as Construction Manager, CEI Project Manager, or Owner’s Representative preferred.
Experience on public-sector/institutional/airport or complex vertical construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Owner’s Representative during construction.
Lead the construction administration and inspection team.
Monitor contractor compliance with contract documents, plans, permits, and codes.
Coordinate with owner, architect, engineers, contractor, consultants, and stakeholders.
Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews.
Review schedules, payments, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and tests.
Monitor costs, schedule performance, quality, safety, and risks.
Maintain project records, reports, and correspondence.
Manage punch-list, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.

Job title: Senior Project Manager – Owner’s Representative (Buildings)

EAC Consulting, Inc. is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to provide construction engineering, administration, and inspection services for a major airport terminal building project. The selected candidate will serve as the Owner’s on-site representative and lead the construction management and inspection team throughout the construction and closeout phases.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Serve as the primary Owner’s Representative during construction.
Lead and coordinate the construction administration and inspection team.
Monitor the contractor’s work for general compliance with the contract documents, approved plans, specifications, permits, and applicable building codes.
Coordinate with the owner, architect, engineers, contractor, consultants, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
Conduct and document regular site inspections and construction progress reviews.
Review contractor schedules, payment applications, change-order requests, requests for information, submittals, and testing reports.
Monitor project costs, schedule performance, construction quality, safety compliance, and identified project risks.
Maintain daily reports, photographic documentation, correspondence, logs, meeting minutes, and other project records.
Identify defective or nonconforming work and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
Lead progress meetings and provide regular written reports to the owner.
Manage punch-list activities, commissioning coordination, project turnover, and final closeout documentation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Registered Architect or Professional Engineer license required.
Minimum of 15 years of relevant building-construction experience.
Demonstrated experience serving as a Construction Manager, CEI Project Manager, or Owner’s Representative.
Experience with public-sector, institutional, airport, municipal, or other complex vertical-construction projects preferred.
Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, contract administration, scheduling, cost control, inspection procedures, and project documentation.
Proficiency with construction-management and document-control software.
Strong written, verbal, leadership, and stakeholder-coordination skills.
