Job summary

Hanwha Ocean EPU in Houston is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of EPC/Oil & Gas projects. You will oversee engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, interfacing with clients and stakeholders to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget project execution.

The role requires a strong track record in large-scale projects, cross-functional leadership, and fluent English in a global matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 10–15 years in EPC/Oil & Gas/ Offshore or large-scale industrial projects.
• Experience leading large, complex projects across multiple disciplines: engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning.
• Strong understanding of contract management, risk management, and project commercial management.
• Interface with clients and manage external stakeholders in international projects.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, offshore, shipbuilding, energy or related industries is a strong advantage.
• Strong leadership with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in a matrix organization and project-based business environment.
• Fluent English communication required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from initiation to close-out, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and quality outcomes.
• Define and execute project strategy, plans, and delivery frameworks.
• Manage project financial performance, including cost control and revenue optimization.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation actions to keep projects on track.
• Act as primary interface with clients and stakeholders to maintain trust and alignment.
• Drive cross-functional integration across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
