Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Project Manager III to lead Los Alamos National Laboratory construction projects. The role emphasizes on-site management, safety, and compliance, with responsibilities across budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with design, procurement, and field teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 15 years in project management, engineering, or construction, a bachelor's in engineering, and proven ability to manage complex, government-funded programs in a matrix

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific discipline (required).
• 15+ years of experience in project management, engineering, construction, project controls or procurement.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing government projects.
• Knowledge of construction operations, subcontract management, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage LANL construction projects on site with strong safety and security training.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Design Engineering, Procurement and other departments.
• Review budgets, schedules, and costs for acceptability.
• Provide guidance to Site Managers and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Prepare project reviews and status updates for sponsors and senior management.
