Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Non-Technical) to lead cross-functional initiatives and ensure delivery of complex programs.

The role spans init to completion, coordinating with business units, finance, marketing, and technology teams, while maintaining strong client and vendor relationships. You will manage budgets, schedules, risks, and communications, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, computer science, or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of project management standards and PMBOK.
• Experience in managing budgets and timelines with clear expectations.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, teamwork and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and PM tools (MS Project, Visio, Salesforce, ClickTime, Workday, SharePoint).
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all project aspects from initiation to delivery.
• Lead project initiation activities (contractual obligations, client needs, goals).
• Ensure requirements align to standards and document exceptions as needed.
• Develop and execute project plans, scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Identify resources and assign major project roles.
• Coordinate tasks across teams and vendors to meet goals within budget and quality.
• Monitor risks, issues, and progress; mitigate as needed.
• Oversee vendor/subcontractor tasks when required.
• Present updates to stakeholders and conduct project closure activities.
