Job summary

Lessard Design Inc. (LDI) is hiring a Project Manager for the Multi-Family Studio in Vienna, VA.

The role focuses on the optimal technical and financial performance of assigned multifamily projects, ensuring design quality, managing schedules and budgets, and maintaining strong client communications. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor of Architecture (or equivalent) and 8+ years of architecture experience, with proficiency in REVIT and MS Office; Photoshop or InDesign are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture, or equivalent required.
• Minimum 8 years architecture experience.
• License preferred.
• Advanced REVIT and MS Office skills; Photoshop and InDesign a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project contracts; clarify scope, deliverables, compensation, and billing terms.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and financial tracking.
• Lead client and internal kickoff meetings; coordinate resources with schedulers.
• Act as primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Schedule and lead project team meetings; ensure cross-discipline communication.
• Perform regular quality control and maintain project documentation.
• Support construction administration with submittals, RFIs, field changes, COs.
• Manage staffing, time approvals, and performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Review and approve financial reports and invoices for accuracy.
• Process and track change orders and mod. proactively.
• Identify risks and report to leadership; ensure on-time fee collection.
