Dweck Properties is seeking a Project Manager to lead owner-side capital improvements and renovations across our Arlington-area communities. You will oversee multiple unit renovation programs from scope and budgeting through construction, turnover, and closeout, collaborating with operations, contractors, and senior leadership.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in construction project management, including multifamily renovations in occupied properties.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of construction project management experience, including direct multifamily unit renovation.
• Experience managing construction in occupied apartment communities.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement, job costing, and change-order review.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with limited supervision while staying organized, accountable, and responsive.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to translate project details into clear updates and recommendations.
• Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, Teams, Bluebeam, and construction management systems. Yardi Construction Manager preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred; relevant experience may substitute for a degree.

Aufgaben

• Own projects from start to finish; manage multiple projects from scope and budgeting through construction and closeout.
• Develop scopes of work, budgets, schedules, bid packages, procurement strategies, and logistics plans.
• Lead unit renovation programs and coordinate with property operations.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, vendors, inspectors, and internal stakeholders.
• Review proposals, contracts, POs, COs, invoices, and pay apps while maintaining budgets.
• Maintain schedules, cost details, and project docs in Yardi Construction Manager.
• Perform regular site visits to monitor progress, safety, and scope compliance.
• Identify risks and provide clear status and recommended solutions to leadership.
• Coordinate permitting, inspections, punch lists, warranties, turnover docs, and closeout.
• Plan work to minimize resident disruption and inform residents throughout.
