Job summary

Volumetric Building Companies is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for the U.S. Project Delivery Team based in Philadelphia. The role oversees projects from early design through manufacturing, collaborating with internal departments to turn concepts into reality.

You will manage scope, schedule, and cost using established PM practices and tools. Ideal candidates bring extensive experience in AEC or manufacturing, strong leadership, and a track record of building long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or related field and at least 7 years of project management experience in manufacturing or AEC industries, or 10+ years in large multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams including internal and external design teams.
• Experience generating, managing, and reporting project schedules and budgets.
• Experience reviewing and managing complex client and subconsultant contracts.
• Ability to identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in reading and commenting on large multidisciplinary architectural and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams through design to manufacturing and delivery.
• Develop project charters detailing roles, scope, objectives, budgets, and escalation paths.
• Manage submittals, approvals, and communications with clients and stakeholders.
• Schedule and lead internal and external project meetings and maintain full lifecycle and lookahead schedules.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, and procurement progress; monitor budget and invoicing.
• Report project health across budget, schedule, design progress, and manufacturing execution.
