Job summary

kW Mission Critical Engineering, a WSP company, seeks an Assistant Vice President, Project Manager in Milwaukee, WI to lead diverse engineering teams from project initiation through completion. You will coordinate with clients, manage proposals, budgets, and changes, and ensure successful project delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, and extensive experience in engineering/construction project management with a focus on cost control and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of experience in Project and/or Program Management on large engineering/construction projects.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing scope, cost and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and staff from initiation to completion.
• Prepare work plans, proposals, schedules, and obtain management/client approvals.
• Communicate project status and quality to clients; resolve issues proactively.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and authorities; keep all parties informed.
• Develop scope of work and fee estimates for management approvals.
• Mentor team members and provide strong administrative and technical project leadership.
