Job summary

kW Mission Critical Engineering, a WSP company, is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Project Manager in Milwaukee to lead a diverse engineering team from inception to project closeout. You will coordinate with clients, prepare proposals and budgets, and ensure successful delivery on large-scale data center projects.

The role requires managing complex timelines, controlling costs, and mentoring engineers while collaborating with cross-disciplinary staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and staff through multiple projects.
• Prepare work plans, proposals, and schedules with client approvals.
• Maintain regular communications with clients on status and quality; resolve issues.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, internal/external clients, vendors, and regulators.
• Address change management with clients and internal teams.
• Monitor budgets, KPIs, and forecasting for projects.
• Lead business development activities including RFQs/RFPs.
• Develop scope of work and fee estimates for approvals.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership.
• Maintain project records and coordinate meetings and subconsultant agreements.
