Job summary

kW Mission Critical Engineering, a WSP company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Houston, TX office. You will lead diverse engineering teams from project initiation through completion, coordinating with clients and internal staff to ensure on-budget, on-time delivery of data center and mission-critical projects.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive client communication, budgeting, and scheduling skills, along with experience in contracts and change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 7+ years of experience in Project and/or Program Management on large engineering/construction projects.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing scope, cost and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, designers and staff through completion of multiple projects with varied complexity.
• Prepare work plans, proposals and schedules; obtain management/client approvals.
• Lead regular client communications on status and quality; resolve issues proactively.
• Manage stakeholders, vendors, and subconsultants; track progress and manage expectations.
• Develop scope of work, fee estimates and manage change orders; maintain project records.
