Job summary

Ardent Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for a growing commercial millwork and custom fabrication company in the Worcester Area, MA. The role oversees complex projects from handoff to completion, coordinating between clients, general contractors, engineering, production, and field teams.

The ideal candidate reads architectural drawings, manages schedules and budgets, and mentors other PMs.

Qualifications

Experience managing commercial millwork projects from kickoff to installation.
Ability to review drawings, specs, shop drawings, and schedules.
Coordinate engineering, fabrication, purchasing, logistics, and field teams.
Identify risks, scope gaps, and schedule concerns early.
Manage schedules, budgets, change orders, and profitability.
Mentor PMs and help establish PM processes at Director level.

Responsibilities

Manage projects from kickoff through installation and completion.
Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and project requirements.
Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, installation, and clients.
Identify drawing discrepancies, scope gaps, and project risks early.
Manage project schedules, budgets, change orders, documentation, and profitability.
Take ownership of major changes while keeping deadlines on track.
Mentor and support less-experienced Project Managers.
