Job summary

FOX Entertainment seeks an experienced Project Manager for FoxNXT, its next-generation technology studio. You will translate requests into clear plans, coordinate across R&D, production, talent, and education, and manage priorities and risks to keep initiatives on track.

You will oversee schedules, budgets, and scope changes, ensuring timely updates and accountability, while leveraging AI tools and modern PM practices to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience in media, entertainment, technology, or closely related field.
• Track record of delivering complex projects across teams with different priorities and areas of expertise.
• Working understanding of television and film production, connecting creative requirements to technical execution.
• Practical experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini, including applying judgment.
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgment about priorities, dependencies, risks, and escalation when needed.
• Clear, concise communication; explain what matters and next steps.
• Ability to build trust and hold people accountable across functions and levels of seniority.
• Proficiency with Jira, Notion, and Google Workspace.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Own project intake and translate requests into clear objectives, scope, deliverables, owners, and timelines.
• Maintain a reliable view of active projects, priorities, dependencies, and team capacity.
• Coordinate across R&D, production, talent, education, and business teams to align resources and move work forward.
• Identify risks, conflicting priorities, and resource constraints early. Recommend solutions and present options.
• Drive follow-through on commitments, approvals, and next steps with clear accountability.
• Provide leadership updates on progress, blockers, and decisions needed.
• Track schedules, budgets, and scope changes; reveal impact before commitments.
• Capture requirements, decisions, workflows, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Track meaningful measures of success: delivery time, cost, adoption, and impact.
• Improve team processes using practical workflows and AI to reduce admin work.
