Job summary

Kelso Industries in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate on-site work with subcontractors to meet schedules and ensure quality workmanship. You will maintain strong client relationships and protect project profitability.

This role requires 5+ years of construction project management, knowledge of HVAC/Piping systems, and the ability to travel up to 40% domestically. OSHA 30 certification is preferred and will be required upon hiring.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management or equivalent.
• Proven working experience in Construction Management or related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC and Piping Systems, building products, construction details/design and relevant rules.
• Familiarity with construction management software packages—overall strong computer skills.
• Self-motivated with excellent time and project management skills.
• OSHA 30 certification is a plus and will be required upon hiring.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating mechanical construction projects from conception to completion.
• Fully understanding all projects in-depth and ensuring all team members are informed.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve emerging issues.
• Establish project cost control centers for tracking equipment, material, labor, subcontracts.
• Procure and manage project subcontractors and equipment vendors.
• Inspect the jobsite for contract compliance, workmanship, and safety.
• Ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with customers, owners, subcontractors and field support staff.
